Armando V.

November 22, 1940 – February 11, 2022
Armando V. Guerra went to be with our lord on February 11, 2022, at the age of 81.
He is preceded in death by Vivano Guerra, Wencesla Velasquez, Edward Guerra, Richard Guerra, Margarito Guerra, Joe Guerra, Alfred Guerra, and Cuca Ruiz.
He is survived by his wife Sonia Guerra; children, Lee Guerra (Carmen), Lorrie Puente and Lisa Guerra; seven grandchildren, Joseph, Joshua, Samuel, Samantha Guerra, Ernest Guerra, Carlos Guerra and Jonathan Romo; one great-grandchild, Kingsley Guerra; siblings, Mario Guerra, Rudy Guerra, Elvira Guerra and Maggie Guerra; and his children's mother, Lupe Rother.
Armando was born on November 22, 1940, in Cotulla, Texas. He accomplished so many incredible things in life, but he especially loved his family and the memories made together with them. He served in the United States Army and was a proud Vietnam Veteran. Armando worked for Fairchild Aircraft for many years before retiring. Armando was really the ultimate husband and father full of love, support, encouragement, and guidance. His capacity for generosity knew no bounds as he was someone who would help anyone in need. He inspired those around him to be a better person. He was apart of the Cruz Blanca Sociedad Fraternal organization. He enjoyed trying his luck at lottery tickets, doing renovations, cowboy movies, and watching football and basketball games. He was devoted to his faith and family and brought immense joy to those around him. We loved his caring ways, and he will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
Words cannot express the feeling in our hearts. Thank you for your prayers and support during this difficult time. Your shared memories, comforting condolences and gestures of love are truly appreciated.
