Armando D. Sanchez passed away on April 10, 2020, surrounded by the warmth and love of his family . He was 78 years old. He was born in Nueva Rosita, Coahuila, Mexico on February 5, 1942.

Armando married the love of his life, Maria Rodriuez Sanchez, on June 5, 1962, and spent 58 years happily married. He was a cook most of his life and helped run a family-owned catering company. He had a passion for rancheritas; he was often found singing and dancing to the music on his radio while he cooked. After retiring, he spent time proudly supporting Edison High School. He enjoyed staying active by walking and working outside. He enjoyed family trips to the casino to gamble and buying Loteria scratch-offs. He was a big fan of the New York Yankees, San Antonio Spurs, and Mexican National Soccer Team. He was an avid hat collector and had a fondness for seafood; especially oysters. Most precious to Armando was his family and the beautiful memories he created with them. He will be missed tremendously.

Armando is loved and will be missed by his daughters, Juanita Morales Sanchez and Carolina Sanchez Coronado; his sons, Armando Sanchez Jr. and Rolando Sanchez; 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
