Armando "Mandito" Silva Donato passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on March 22, 2024. He was 66 years old. He was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, on August 27, 1957.

Armando lived a simple life and was gracious and accommodating to his family and friends. He loved working outdoors. Landscaping was a passion and he took pleasure in tending his yard.

He had a love for tacos, pink cake, Almond Joy candy, Sunkist & HEB grape soda. He adored his dog Brownie.  He enjoyed riding his bike around the neighborhood and didn't let his illness keep him from enjoying his last ride. He cherished his mother and would cater to her with her favorite foods. He was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys & San Antonio Spurs. He will be missed.

Armando joins his father, Ramon Donato; his mother, Elida S. Donato; his sister, Lucia D. Aranda; his brother, Jesse S. Donato; his niece Rebecca Guerrero & her husband Raul Guerrero; his nephew Raymond David Donato and his wife Edith Donato and his niece Michelle Lopez in heaven.

He is survived by his brother's, Raymond S. Donato, Richard S. Donato, David S. Donato (Maria), Rene S. Donato (Henry Meza), and his sister Grace D. Robledo (Miguel) and numerous nieces and nephews, extended family & friends.
