Art
Leal
August 8, 1959 – January 31, 2022
My beloved husband and father, Art Leal went to meet Our Heavenly Father on January 31, 2022. He leaves his wife Maryann Leal of 37 years and his pride and joy sons Jonathan Arthur Leal and Matthew Alexander Leal. His sister's Lucy Leal and Blanche Nail (Steve). Sisters-in-law Benita Rocha, Luz Mora (Tony) Mary Mendoza (Guadalupe), Beatriz Gomez and numerous nephews and nieces. Art was the strongest faithful man many came to know.
My father lived an amazing life. He taught us so much and had a real knack for always cheering us up or figuring out a way to make whatever was wrong – Right. He was the strongest man we knew. He would do anything for his family, so much of him is in our home. Whether it'd be the numerous additions he made to better our home, or the many pictures of him. We are always reminded that he didn't just leave a mark in our lives, but in the lives of the many friends and colleagues he knew. For so many years now, we have always heard the phrase "They got a smile that could light up a room". Our dad is the only person we've known that really could. He was always one for laughs and conversation and he always had some great story to tell. I think the things we will remember most about our father is his smile and the strength he displayed. Of course, the memories of flying kites when I was 7 and going to Traders Village almost every weekend. In 2016, there are some of our favorite memories that we will always cherish, but what stands out the most to us is the past year. Up until his final days he was still helping us out with anything we needed; that was our dad, strong, courageous, caring and loving. He was an amazing husband and father and I'm glad that he was our dad.
I hope in his lifetime we did everything we could to help him and make him proud and going forward we will do everything we can to continue making him proud. We love you dad and while we all miss you more than words can describe; we are all thankful for your life and we will live knowing that you are at peace. Thank you for everything.
He will be greatly missed for all his kindness, love and huge smile. REST IN PEACE MI ORO.
