Arthur Gabriel Mendez was born on May 16 ^th , 1959 and died on November 9 ^th 2022. He is preceded in death by his parents, Amelia Hernandez Mendez and Aurelio Sergio Cedillo Mendez, and his older brother Reynaldo Sergio Hernandez Mendez.  He graduated from John F Kennedy High School class of 1978.  Where he played football all 4 years.  In 2019 he retired from the HEB warehouse where he dedicated 37 years of his life to the company he loved.  He left behind his beloved sons Santiago Aguillon Mendez and Mateo Guerra Aguillon, his sister Diana Mendez, and his brother Daniel Mendez. He found joy in always keeping himself busy, be it with traveling, woodworking, electrical work, anything that kept him moving and thinking.
