Arturo R. Garay, 63 went to be with the lord on November 22, 2024. He was born to parents , Louis M. Garay and Anselma R. Garay, in San Antonio Texas on February 25, 1961.

He graduated from Oliver Wendell Holmes High School in 1980. He was employed for many years at Bexar Metropolitan Water District as well as San Antonio Water System. He retired as working as an employee for the city of Floresville, Texas. He treasured the sport of fishing as well as being an avid fan of the University Of Texas Longhorns. He had a wonderful personality, and a great sense of humor.

Arturo is also preceded in death by his spouse, Matilda Garza, whom he was married to for 14 years, his father Louis M. Garay, sisters Evangelina Dorschutz, and Elena Jackson. Arturo is loved and will be missed by his sons, Arturo Garay Jr, Jonathan Garay ( Desirea ); and Elijah M. Garay; his mother Anselma R. Garay; siblings Ysidra Kyle, Anita Cano ( Fredrick ); Raymond Garay ( Sylvia ); Amelia Wilkie ( Craig ); Jose Garay ( Rita ); Lucia Robledo, Jesse Garay; Louis Stewart ( Joseph ); Mario Garay ( Heather ); 7 grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
