Arturo P. Medina went to be with our Lord on March 30, 2022, at the age of 83.

Arturo was born on July 8, 1938, in San Antonio Texas. He accomplished so many incredible things in life, but he was especially proud of his family.Arturo and his wife Maria were married on February 28, 1958 and shared the next 64-years together. He enjoyed the simple pleasures in life like being outside with nature and fishing any chance he got.

He inspired people around him to be better individuals. His capacity for generosity knew no bounds. He was also someone who would help anyone in need with support, encouragement, and guidance. Arturo loved when the family got together and truly devoted his time to family. Those times will exist in our memories and will be cherished forever. We loved his caring ways, and he will be deeply missed.

There are no words that can express the feelings in our hearts. Thank you for your prayers and support during this difficult time. Your shared memories, comforting condolences and gestures of love are truly appreciated.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Diana M. Diaz; father, Anacleto Medina; mother, Julia Pena; brother, Rafael Medina; and a sister, Luisa Esinoza.

He is survived by his wife, Maria C. Medina; daughters, Mary Medina, Sylvia M. Martinez (Jesse), and Delia M. Carrizales; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at Castillo Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. A chapel service will be held at 12:00 pm with interment to follow at San Fernando III Cemetery.
