Arturo Ruiz Vasquez (Art) passed away peacefully on July 19, 2022 at the age of 62. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on September 27, 1959. Art was a great provider for his family and loved spending time with family and friends.  His favorite pass time was watching wrestling and the Dallas Cowboys games.  He also loved spending time with his grandchildren, Michael Jr. (MJ) and Skylynn Rose. He will be dearly missed and we will always treasure the beautiful memories he created with family and friends.

Art is preceded in death by his parents Pedro and Elvira Vasquez, Brother Joe Vasquez and his father-in-law Leonel C. Benavidez

Art will always be loved and missed by his wife of 35 years, Bernadette B. Vasquez, his sons Michael A. Rodriguez (Sandra Mejia), Thomas J. Vasquez (Emily Hernandez), and Steven J. Vasquez. Along with his siblings, Frank Vasquez (Pauline), Olivia V. Martinez, Oralia Garcia (Tony), Pete Vasquez (Yolanda), Elida Munoz, Oscar Vasquez, Diana Bosquez (John). Brother in laws Leo Benavidez (Laurie), Marcos Benavidez (Linda) and Max Benavidez (Michelle); Sister in laws Yvonne Guzman (Greg), Monica B. Lopez, Maria Elena Sykes (Kenneth) and numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
