Aucencio DeLeon Jr., born March 22,1953, passed away on February 13,2024 at the age of 70 yrs.old surrounded by his loving family whom he loved and adored.

He is preceded in death by his parents Aucencio DeLeon Sr. and Evangelina DeLeon, his siblings Angelita Ortiz, Pauline Isaman, Anita Del Bosque, David DeLeon, Olga Delgado and Alejandro DeLeon. He is survived by his siblings Ernestina Acosta, Evangeline Esquivel, Delia Martinez and Alicia Murillo, spouse Mary DeLeon, his children Aucencio DeLeon III, Diana Griego, Laura Carrillo, Tanya DeLeon, Ernesto DeLeon and Maria Montez, along with various grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Aucencio was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, father in law, son, brother, uncle and friend. He accomplished so much in his lifetime and made us very proud. His presence and smile would light up any room. He had a heart of gold and led by example of his beliefs and faith as a Jehovah's Witness, leaving an imprint in the hearts of his children along with many others.

He loved talking about the good old days when he played in a Conjunto(band) and about the days he was employed at Columbia 300, playing the guitar as he sang along, going out on field service with his brothers and sisters of his congregation, spending time with family, and taking short car rides as he listened to tejano or oldies music.

We were truly blessed to have him as a father. He will be greatly  missed but we will forever carry him in our hearts.
