Augustina "Tina" Fernandez was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday July 30, 2020 at the blessed age of 65. Tina was born on December 4, 1954 in San Antonio, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ramiro and Rosa Rodriguez and brother, Ramiro Rodriguez.
She leaves her memory to her beloved husband of 49 years, Luis R.Fernandez; daughters, Christina Montes (Ricardo Montes) and Melissa Fernandez (Ralph Gomez); sisters, Amparo Tovar and Mary Helen Rodriguez; grandchildren, Ricardo Z. Montes (Samantha Montes), April N. Gallardo (Jesus Hernandez), Venessa Starr Perez, Cerina R. Montes, Isabella G. Gomez; great grandchildren, Eliana A. Montes and Camila L. Montes; as well as her extended family and friends who loved her dearly.
Some knew her as Augustina or Tina but to her beloved family we call her Momo. Momo was a loving wife, an amazing mother, a devoted sister, a sweet aunt, and cared for her 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren dearly. She was a dedicated employee of Marriott for 32 years. Momo had a gift from God to be of service to family, friends and even to those that she did not know. Her family memories include family gatherings, trips to Concan, TX, and many holiday traditions. Momo enjoyed going to casinos, cheering for the Spurs and Cowboys, and especially her Betty Boop collection. Momo had a great sense of humor and brought a smile to many faces. She will live forever in the hearts of her family and friends.

Visitation will take place on Friday, August 7, 2020 from 1pm until 4pm with a Rosary to be recited from 4pm to 5pm.
