Aurora R.
Sanchez
July 17, 1946 – November 21, 2023
Aurora R. Sanchez entered eternal rest on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at the blessed age of 77. She was born on July 17, 1946, in San Antonio, Texas to the late Solomon Vallejo and Margarita Rodriguez Sanchez. Aurora was a kind- hearted woman with a generous heart. Her smile would light up a room and her infectious laughter would leave you laughing for what would seem like an eternity. Children would often gravitate towards her. Aurora had a great sense of humor and a generous heart, she loved and cared for everyone that crossed her path. She was also a fighter, Aurora battled uterine cancer and overcame it in 2018, but the cancer came back with tenacity in August of 2023. Aurora will be remembered for her strength, generosity, her beautiful smile, and for her will to live despite fighting against a brutal disease like cancer. She always smiled through the pain. She is reunited in Heaven with her parents Solomon and Margarita, siblings Isabel, Ricardo, and Gloria; nieces Martha Denise and Christina Enriqueta Lucinda. Aurora is survived by her brother Robert Sanchez, Sr.; sister Oralia R. Sanchez; sister-in-law Barbara Sanchez; nieces and nephews Rose Marie, Yvette Ann, Terri Lynn, Rebecca Lynn, Robert Sanchez, Jr., Michelle Marguerite; Nicole, Danielle, Bonnie, Malorie, Allissa, Evan, Anthony, Erick, Brianna, Timothy, Christian, Miranda, Stephanie and Crystal, and great grand nieces and nephews, Tiffany, AnnaBelle, Layla, Erick, Nathaniel, Christopher, Zoey, Ricardo, Myra, Makayla, Fabian Jr., Adaline, Danni, Brier, Zuri, Camille, Maeve and Abrielle. Our Tia will always be with us. Now all we can do is pray that one day she will save a place for us next to her in heaven. God's fleet of Angels has gained a beautiful soul. God has taken you home dearest Pita. We love you. Visitation will take place at Castillo Funeral Home on Friday, December 8, 2023, from 9:00am until 11:30am.
