Aurora Tietz passed away peacefully on December 27, 2023, surrounded by the warmth and love of her family. She was 95 years old. She was born on March 14, 1928 in San Antonio, Texas.

Aurora was married to Alfred Tietz who was the love of her life for 35 years and had 9 children together. He preceded her in death in 1981. She was a wonderful and strong woman. She had numerous career positions throughout her life. She was a woman who loved her whole family no matter what; she was the glue that kept us together. She was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs. Most precious to Aurora besides her husband and family was her faith in God. She will be missed tremendously by all.

Aurora is also preceded in death by her daughter Rhonda Vela, her son Fred Tietz, her son Louis Tietz, her daughter Christine Tietz, her daughter Ann Welcome.

Aurora is loved and will be missed by her daughter, Rory Briseno (Arthur), her sons Joe Tietz (Cathy) & Augustin Tietz, her daughter Elizabeth Tietz; and grandchildren; great grandchildren; great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
