Obituary

Aurora Urias, born on May 31, 1965, entered into eternal rest on January 12, 2026. Aurora is preceded in death by her father, Marcelino Montoya Urias, and her mother, María Theresa De Los Santos. Though she did not have biological children of her own, Aurora lovingly embraced Anna Alcoser, Annette Alcoser Hernandez, John Anthony Alcoser, and Christopher Lee Alcoser as her children in every way that mattered.

She is survived by her siblings; Elena Monsivais, Linda De Los Santos, Marcelino Urias Jr., Diana De Los Santos Martinez, Trinidad Salinas, Margarita Esquivel, and María Teresa De Los Santos, all of whom she cared for with the heart of a mother and the devotion of a protector.

Aurora dedicated over 15 years of service to the City of San Antonio, where she was known for her reliability, kindness, and strong work ethic. Her faith was the foundation of her life; she was a devoted member of Westover Hills Assembly of God, where she found strength, community, and purpose.

To her family, Aurora was more than a sister, she was a guiding light, a steady presence, and a mother figure whose love shaped their lives. She extended that same nurturing spirit to her spiritually adopted children, offering them unwavering support, encouragement, and affection.

Aurora found joy in the simple, beautiful things: music that lifted her spirit and dancing when she thought no one was watching. Her laughter, quiet strength, and gentle heart will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her.

Her legacy lives on in the love she gave, the faith she carried, and the family she held so close.
