Avery Jacob Flores passed away on December 12, 2021, at the age of 19.

Avery is preceded in death by Andres F. Hernandez, Maria D. Hernandez, Juan Jose & Emma Ortiz Vega, Valente and Lidia Gonzalez, Jezzebelle Jenna Lopez, Ezra Rey Hoover, Adonis Rey Tapia, and Lionel Salinas.

He leaves behind his parents, Francisco Gonzalez and Angela Gonzalez; his siblings, Malaki Espinoza, Juan Hernandez, Ebony Gonzalez, and Frank Gonzalez; in addition to his grandparents, Michael & Rosie Vega and Deborah Hernandez; his aunts and uncles, Andres & Ashley Valdez, Jay & Amber Gallegos, Joshua & Pricilla Casillas, Michael Vega Jr., Jasmine Ramirez, Salvador Gonzalez, and Bertha Flores; and cousins, Ethan Vasquez, Azlynn Zavala, Dannica Zavala, Lailah Valdez, Jasmine Valdez, Julian Valdez, Nevaeh Gallegos, Jay Dee Gallegos Jr., Dee Anthony Gallegos, Javeah Gallegos, Joshua Casillas, Jaden Vega, Serenity Vega, Sofia Vega, Sebastian Flores, Issac Flores, Daniel Flores, Katelynn Flores, and Lydia Flores.

Avery was born on Monday, August 26, 2002, in San Antonio, Texas. He graduated from Southwest High school and later worked as a home health provider. He loved to play sports, singing, dancing, and cutting hair. Avery loved his family and especially loved the memories made together. Despite his short time on earth, Avery brought immense joy to those around him. We loved his sense of humor and caring ways, and he will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
