Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Azalea C. Paiz. A beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend to many, who departed from this world on March 27th, 2024. She was 60 years old.

Born 24th of September 1963 to George & Elena Ibarra, Azalea lived a life defined by her unwavering kindness, boundless generosity, and enduring love for her family and friends. She touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Azalea was a beacon of light among her family and friends, known for her selflessness and willingness to lend a helping hand or ear to anyone in need.

Azalea cherished the simple joys of life. She loved her arts and crafts, fishing, bike riding, fiesta and Tejano concerts.

Azalea's memory will forever be treasured by her beloved husband, son, grandchild, and a multitude of relatives and friends. Though She may no longer walk among us, her spirit will continue to guide and inspire us in our daily lives.

As we mourn the loss of Azalea, let us also rejoice in the profound impact she had on our lives. May she rest in peace, knowing her love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be reunited with her mother and daughter in heaven, as well as many other relatives and friends who passed on before.

Azalea's journey on this earth may have come to an end, but her spirit will forever remain a guiding light, illuminating our paths and reminding us of the power of love, compassion, and kindness.

Azalea, you will be deeply missed, but your memory will forever be cherished in our hearts.

The family will receive guests at Castillo Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. for visitation and at 6:00 p.m. for a rosary service.

A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. in St. Gabriel's Catholic Church. The burial will follow with a graveside service held at San Fernando Cemetery III.
