Balde C Barrera passed away on January 20, 2020 in the comfort of his home at the side of his loving wife of forty-nine years, Lupe. He was seventy years old. He was born on March 23, 1949 in San Antonio, Texas.
Balde was a successful small business owner who never shied away from any challenges. He operated multiple businesses simultaneously with the help of his supporting wife, Lupe. His business ventures started small, selling snacks out of a van. After a few years, he was able to open a small restaurant, that small restaurant then led him to expand into a full restaurant, molino, and bakery. If you were one of his customers, he most likely sat and enjoyed a cup of coffee with you. After years of being a small business owner, Balde dedicated his time to his grandchildren. He was a diehard Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs fan. He also loved Western movies and shows. His unforgettable personality will always be missed.
Balde is preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and Carolina Barrera. Brothers; Avelino, Ramon, Felipe, and Raul. Sisters; Minerva and Eufemia.
Balde is loved and will be missed by his son, Balde Jr and his wife, Yvette. Daughter; Bernice. And six grandchildren; Balde III, Bianca, Gabriel, Vincent, his angel Benjamin, and Mireya.
