Baltazar Chapa passed away on March 17, 2026, surrounded by the warmth and love of his family. Baltazar was 74 years old. He was born in Allende, Coahuila on September 25, 1951.

Baltazar truly knew that it was a bigger blessing to give, rather than receive. His generosity knew no bounds. Baltazar was a loving father and grandfather and a beautiful soul who would help anyone. His radiant smile lit up any room he entered. He enjoyed music, it was his language, his solace, and his method of connecting with the world. He lived life to the fullest and especially loved spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Blanca Ibarra Chapa; his children, Baltazar Chapa, Gabriela Chapa-Chavez, Sara Chapa and Daniel Chapa; grandchildren, Gabriel Chapa, Christopher Chapa, Julian Chapa, Jesus Chavez and Aaron Chavez; brother, Felix Chapa; and sister, Sara Chapa.

Preceded in death by his parents, Benito Chapa and Irene Guerra; brother Juan Chapa; and sisters; Rosy Whittington and Dora Chapa.

Although Baltazar is gone, he will live in our hearts forever.

Visitation will be held Wednesday March 25, 2026 from 4:00pm -8:00pm.
