Barbara A. Campos

Barbara A. Campos, age 59, was called home to be with the Lord, her father (Jesse Martinez) and sister (Terry Tubbs) on February 26, 2026.

Barbara was born March 7, 1966, in San Antonio, Texas.  She was a loving and devoted mother to her sons, John Campos and Joseph Campos, and a proud grandmother to her only grandson, Michael Campos.

Barbara was a strong, dedicated and loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.  Barbara was known for her care-free spirit, infectious laughter and the love she showed everyone around her.  She graciously opened her heart and home to family and friends that needed her love, comfort or care.  Because of her compassion, she chose to be a Nursing Assistant for many years, caring for and showing respect for all her patients. Barbara loved to make everyone feel special, happy, loved and welcomed wherever she was. She enjoyed having family and friends over for BBQ's, making sure everyone left full and content. She was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan and always did everything her way.

Barbara left this world peacefully, with her beloved twin boys by her side.

Barbara was preceded in death by her father, Jesse Martinez and sister, Terry Tubbs.

She leaves behind her sons: John Campos and Joseph Campos and grandson, Michael Campos.

She is survived by her loving mother:  Josefina Musquiz, Brothers:  Jesse Martinez & family, Richard Martinez & family, Sisters:  Jo Ann Cuellar & family, Veronica Maldonado & family and Vanessa Martinez & family, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Although our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing that Barbara now rests peacefully in God's eternal embrace and is reunited with her beloved father and sister.

Barbara will be missed dearly by all that knew her and will forever live in our hearts until we meet again.
