Beatrice De Leon Arocha, 71 of San Antonio was called home to be with the Lord on November 25, 2021. Beatrice was a Burbank High School Class of 1969 Alumni and had worked for the City of San Antonio and the Texas Workforce Commission. Beatrice enjoyed a social life throughout her days and found joy in dancing and listening to Tejano music. With her sister Carolyn and brother Greg, she was able to travel to Hawaii, New Mexico, California, Virginia, and Maryland. A few years ago, she traveled to Cancun, Mexico with her son and his family. She was proud of her only child Gabriel and his family. Beatrice is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Ernest De Leon and Greg Riojas. She is survived by her mother Mary Riojas, son Gabriel Salazar and his wife Mary, sisters Carolyn and Lavonne, grandchildren Sophia, Valeria, Gabriel, and Christian, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Castillo Funeral Home, from 3:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, with a Rosary to be recited at 6 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel.

Family & Friends will meet for a 10 a.m. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
