We are saddened to announce Mrs. Beatrice Barrientes Campos, aged 76, passed away peacefully on June 5th, 2024 after a long and well lived life.

Beatrice or "BB" was born on May 26th, 1948 to Melchor and Esperanza Barrientes in San Antonio, TX. After graduating from John F. Kennedy High School in 1960 she pursued a career in nursing at Baptist Medical Center.

On September 21, 1968, she wed John Govea Campos at St. James the Apostle Catholic Church. They would go on to have two children, Christine and John Campos.

Beatrice is survived by her husband John Campos; her sister Josephine Gonzales; her daughter Christine Campos; her son John Campos; her four grandchildren and great-grandchild.

She will be remembered for her infectious laughter, unbelievable strength, warm smile, and unwavering love for her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
