She is reunited in heaven with her parents, daughter Francisca and son Antonio.  Beatriz was wonderfully devoted to her 4 children Francisca, Antonio, Edith, and Guadalupe.

She was a loving Grandmother to 20 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Beatriz was alway busy raising children and grandchildren all the while working to provide for her family.  She was an excellent chef and in her retirement enjoyed gardening.

She led a very active life.  Known to take her family fishing to the San Antonio River and Woodland Lake.  Her most memorable trip was to Colorado where she was able to do hiking up the Rockies.

Beatriz was a devoted Christian, who spent countless hours in prayer.

She led by example. There was never a job too large or too small that she would not tackle.

Beatriz was a strong, determined and fiercely independent woman who persevered throughout her lifetime.

We will miss her supportive, positive and generous spirit.  Heaven has gained our most beloved blessing and will forever be in our hearts.

A private family memorial will be held at Castillo Mission Funeral Home and will be buried alongside her husband, David Garza, at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
