Belia Angelica Cortes, de la edad de 72, fue llamada por el Senor el dia Noviembre 23, 2020, frente a su hogar en San Antonio, Texas.

Tendremos su vista funebre de 3 a 7:30 de la tarde el 3 de Diciembre, 2020 en Castillo Mission Funeral home ubicado en 520 N General McMullen Dr. El culto funebre se llevara acabo el dia siguente, 4 de Diciembre, 2020, con el pastor Hno. Adrian Monsivais de La Primera Iglesia Apostolica de la Fe en Cristo Jesus en San Antonio a las 9 de la mañana, siguiendo el servicio sera sepultada en el cementerio San Fernando III.

Belia nacio en Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico, hija de Julio Perez y Nicolasa Velasquez el dia Enero 03, 1948. Se unio en Matrimonio con el Hno. Eduardo I. Cortes el 8 de Junio de 1968, y estubieron casados por 52 años y tuvieron 3 hijos. La Hna. Belia Cortes siempre fue una fiel sierva del Senor y activa en la iglesia. La hermana Cortes fue bautizada y recibio el don del Espiritu Santo en Octubre del 1962 a la edad de 14 años. La hermana Belia siempre estaba lista para ayudar y apoyar a su familia en todo momento y ayudar a sus hermanos(as) en Cristo. Era muy comun encontrar a la Hna. Cortes en su casa cantando himnos regocijandonce en Cristo, platicando con su familia, contando historias de cuando ella crecia y cosiendo ropa y deliciosa comida para su esposo sus hijos y nietos.

Belia es precedida en la muerte por sus 11 hermanos y hermanas, y por su hija Sylvia Cortes.

Le sobreviven su esposo Eduardo I. Cortes, su hija Maria I. Cortes, su hijo Eduardo Cortes, 5 nietas, 3 nietos, 2 bisnietas y 2 bisnietos.

La familia Cortes les agradece por sus oraciones y su apoyo en estos momentos dificiles.

Belia Angelica Cortes, aged 72, was called home by our Lord on November 23 ^rd , 2020, near her home in San Antonio, Texas.

Her viewing will be held from 3 to 7:30 PM on December 3 ^rd , 2020 at Castillo Mission Funeral Home located at 520 N General McMullen Dr. Belia's funeral service will take place the following day December 4 ^th , 2020 at 9 AM, this will be officiated by Pastor Adrian Monsivais from La Primera Iglesia Apostolica de la Fe en Cristo Jesus in San Antonio following the service she will be laid to rest at the San Fernando III Cemetery.

Belia was born in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico, to Julio Perez and Nicolasa Velazquez on January 3 ^rd , 1948. She was joined in holy matrimony to Eduardo I. Cortes on June 8 ^th , 1968, they were married for 52 years and had 3 children.  Belia was a loyal servant to our Father and was continually active in the church. Belia was baptized October 1962, when she received the Holy Spirit at the age of 14 years old.  Belia was always ready to help and support her family, never missing any milestones, and her brothers and sisters in Christ. You would often find Belia singing hymns in her home and worshipping the Lord, telling stories about her childhood and adolescence to her family and sewing clothes as well as cooking delicious meals for her husband, children, and grandchildren.

Belia is preceded in death by her 11 siblings and her daughter Sylvia Cortes.

She is survived by her husband Eduardo I. Cortes, her daughter Maria I. Cortes, her son Eduardo Cortes, 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
