She was a 1980 graduate of John F. Kennedy High School and attended St. Phillips College thereafter where she studied accounting. Belinda then went on to become a unit secretary in the Christus Santa Rosa Intensive Care Unit before retiring.

Belinda was deeply devoted to her family. She especially doted on her grand-nieces and nephews. She loved cooking her favorites for them such as her delicious chicken mole, arroz con pollo, and her homemade lemonade was everyone's favorite.

She is preceded in death by her parents Hilario Juarez Lopez and Bernardina Lopez; her siblings Marcos A. Lopez, Graciela Vasquez Lopez, and Elisa Lopez Rodriguez. She is survived by her eldest brother Isidoro Hilario Lopez and wife Lynda; her nephew Isidoro Anthony Lopez and wife Natasha, her niece Bernardina Lopez; grand-nieces and nephews Clarissa Denise Collins and Joseph Michael Collins, Isiah Anthony Lopez, Ian Alexander Lopez, and Tabitha Annelise Lopez, and carings cousins who looked in on her often, always making her laugh.

Although Belinda will be greatly missed, her loved ones take comfort in knowing she is finally reunited with her beloved parents and siblings.
