Obituary

Benicio Gallardo III, lovingly known as Baby Ben or Benny, entered this world on Christmas Eve of 2000 with a light that never dimmed, and a heart that touched everyone lucky enough to have known him. Sadly, Benny was called home to the Lord on May 15th, 2026.

Benny lived with an open heart. To him, the world was full of friends he simply had not met yet. Every hug, every smile beneath that beard, every moment shared, was a chance to spread happiness.

His loyalty was steadfast and his love was boundless. His laughter could shift the energy of a room. His dance moves were contagious. He loved a good dad joke, and a bad one.

Nothing filled him with more happiness than the thought of becoming a father this coming November with his loving girlfriend, Angelina. A blessing he already deeply cherished.

Benny found peace in the outdoors; the quiet of an open road, the crunch of leaves on a hiking trail, and the rumble of his motorcycle.

Benny is preceded in death by: his great-grandparents Esperanza Orta de Cuellar and Juan Cuellar Hernandez, Angelita and German Gallardo, Herlinda Mendoza and Santiago Gutierrez; and his grandfather, Johnny L. Ramos.

Benny is survived by: his loving parents Karina and Benicio Gallardo Jr; his siblings Rachel, Julian, Santiago, German, and Pedro; his grandparents Benicio and Rachel Gallardo; grandmother Gracie Ramos; his girlfriend Angelina Zepeda; and a wide circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, his nephew and an extended family that adored him without measure.

Though Benny may no longer walk beside us, his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of his girlfriend, child, family, friends, and every person who crossed paths with him. He was Steady, Bright, and Unforgettable.

“Jesus declared: I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life, and everyone that is living and exercises faith in me will never die at all.” John 11:25-26
