Obituary

Benigno F. Ximenez Jr. passed away peacefully on December 2, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.  He was 84 years old.  Benigno, aka. "Benny", was born August 5, 1941.

Benny was preceded in death by his son, Benigno "Ben" Ximenez, parents Benigno A. Ximenez and Trinidad F. Ximenez, brother Alfredo F. Ximenez, and sister Tomasita F. Ximenez

Benny was meat cutter by trade and a true master of his trade.  He was employed at Swift Packing company and various other meat packing companies for over 50 years.  After his retirement from the meat packing industry, Benny went to work as a truck driver with the City of San Antonio, retiring after 15 years of service.  He was a hard-working, humble man who was fearless of in his quest for life and love of God.  He was an avid deer hunter and loved sitting by the fire after a cold afternoon hunt, discussing the next morning's hunt plans.  In 1961, Benny married the love of his life, Angelina M. Ximenez.  Together they celebrated 64 years of marriage. Angie's well-being was always his primary concern. He willingly accompanied her to medical appointments, grocery shopping and running errands.  In 64 years, he never left her side.

Benny is survived by his wife of 64 years, Angelina M. Ximenez, daughter Charlotte Ximenez Garza (Edward), son Judge Alfredo M. Ximenez (Cassandra), grandchildren Stephen Garza, Nicholas Garza, Lauren Garza, Julian Ximenez, and Bianca Ximenez.  He is also survived by his brother Victor F. Ximenez, many nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends.
