Benito Amador, 57, of San Antonio, Texas, was granted his wings on February 14, 2020 surrounded by his immediate family.

He was born to Alejandro and Maria Amador on August 28, 1962 in San Antonio, Texas. Benito attended Fox Tech High School and later received his associates degree from Texas A&M.

He married Betty, the love of his life, in December 1989, who survives him. Benito is also survived by his two sons and daughter in law: Russell, Daniel, and Kassandra Amador.

Benito was known for his loving nature and selflessness. He enjoyed watching boxing in his free time, but this was also a man that was always busy whether it was fixing cars, household projects, or just lending a helping hand to someone in need with no questions asked. Through years of being a great friend, husband, and father he went on to earn the nickname "The Great Mazoo!"

The visitation services will be held at Castillo Mission Funeral Home on Thursday, February 20, 2020 beginning at 4:00 pm followed by the Rosary at 7:00pm and concluding at 9:00pm. On Friday, February 21, 2020, the funeral services will be held at 11:00am at Castillo Mission Funeral Home followed by the interment at San Jose Burial Park.
