Benito Ricondo Guerrero, at age 90 was a wonderful son father, brother, tio y amigo; as well as an excellent husband and Abuelito; peacefully passed away on 17 January 2025 in San Antonio, TX. Benito Ricondo Guerrero was born on 5 May 1934 in San Antonio, TX who is preceded in death by his parents Juan and Francisca (Ricondo) Guerrero; his brothers, Apolonio R. Guerrero and Miguel Guerrero of Adrian, Michigan; Sisters, Tomasita Martinez and Andrea Guerrero of Adrian, Michigan; Inez Rodriguez, Manuela Gonzales, Juanita Davila, and Lorenza Olivio of San Antonio, TX

Benito R. Guerrero proudly worked in the Railroad industry in Michigan at a young age. As an adult, my father moved to San Antonio, Texas where he would work at FedMart, the San Antonio Light newspaper, and then moved on to work and retire for 26 years from Sears Automotive where it was his dream to proudly earned his certification as an ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) Master Certified Mechanic. His compassion to go out of his way for others no matter who they were – family, neighbor, friend, or an unknown person. He would help each person or even advise them on how to make everything work better. As a father, he taught his son everything he knows into being the person he is today. As a grandfather, he adored and loved his grandchildren with all his heart. My father was like an adolescent spending quality time with them. He would advise them, help them with life situations, and loved spending time with them by taking them to the park, going on trips, taking them to special events, and even watching wildlife documentaries of National Geographic at his home. He loved Western movies, Texas Longhorns, Dallas Cowboys, San Antonio Spurs, and always wanted to know what was going on with the current events and weather by watching the nightly news. Benito most importantly loved spending time with his family no matter what day it was. Seeing my father play with his grandchildren and being with his family will forever be the many, many memories that will be engraved in us always.
