Benjamin D. Perez

Benjamin D. Perez, 66, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on August 27, 2026. Born on February 9, 1960, Benjamin lived his entire life in San Antonio, where he was rooted in a multigenerational Tejano heritage that he carried with pride throughout his life.

Benjamin briefly served in the United States Army, an experience that reflected his lifelong sense of duty and commitment to those around him. He went on to build a career as a carpenter and in construction, known as a true jack of all trades — the kind of man who could fix, build, or figure out just about anything.

A proud Jehovah's Witness, Benjamin's faith was central to who he was. He was also a devoted family man and a loyal friend to many, the kind of person who made time for the people he loved. When he wasn't working with his hands, he could often be found enjoying a good Western movie.

Benjamin is survived by his sons, Frank and Benjamin (Mariana); his daughters, Valerie (Tommy) and Virginia; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who will carry his memory forward.

Benjamin will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His legacy of craftsmanship, faith, and devotion to family will continue to live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
