Benjamin Gonzales Jr

September 16,1951 – April 15, 2023

Benjamin Gonzales Jr. passed away peacefully at St. David's Hospital in Austin on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at the age of 71. He was born on September 16, 1951 in San Angelo, Texas and was raised in San Antonio, Texas. Benjamin was strong in his Catholic faith and passionate about family. Benjamin served and retired with 20yrs of service in the Air Force. He was deeply loved and will be missed by the many lives he touched. His memory will continue to be in the hearts of his Godson Luca Grijalva, all of his nieces, nephews and family.

Visitation will held at Castillo Funeral Home on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at 4pm with a Rosary to be recited at 6pm. A procession will depart the funeral home at 8:30am on Monday, May 1,2023 for a 9:15am Funeral Mass at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
