Bernardo "Nano" V. Dueñas was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday November 18, 2023, at the blessed age of 84. He passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family in his home. He was born May 5, 1939, in Linares, N.L. MX to Margarito and Anita Dueñas. Bernardo was a hard worker who accomplished many welding projects, while teaching his sons the trade and passing his wisdom to his children and grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time at his beloved ranch. He is reunited in heaven with his parents and wife of 59 years, Josefa R Dueñas. He is loved and greatly missed by his children Efrain Dueñas (Anna), Thelma Dueñas, Bernardo R Dueñas Jr. (Michelle), 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 3 brothers, 5 sisters; as well as many extended family members and friends. A visitation will be held on Wednesday November 29, 2023, at Castillo Funeral Home, 520 N General McMullen, beginning at 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be held at 6:00 p.m. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home Thursday November 30, 2023, at 9:15 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. mass at San Martin de Porres, 1730 Dahlgreen Ave. Interment to follow at San Fernando Catholic Cemetery III, 1735 Cupples Rd.
