Mrs. Bertha Abrego passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on April 12, 2021 at the age of 96. Born in Richmond Texas to Fred and Anita Perez on July 14, 1924. Preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Anita Perez, her siblings Ruby, Paula, Aurora, Tony and her loving husband of 60 years Roberto Abrego Sr. She is survived by her loving family to include her children, Daniel (Cindy) Abrego, Yolanda (David) Moran, Roberto Jr (Margaret) Abrego, Michael (Debra) Abrego and Mark (Yvette) Abrego. Ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and her siblings, Rita, Ralph, Roger, Fred & Anna Marie. We will all miss her sweet voice, spontaneous laughter, loving smile, soft touch and her devotion to the lord. Rest in Peace mom.

Visitation to take place at Castillo Mission Funeral Home on Saturday, April 24, 2021 from 1:00pm until 5:00pm with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 3:00pm. Family and friends will meet at 11:45am at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 4222 SW Loop 410, San Antonio, TX 78227 on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 for a 12:00pm funeral mass. A procession will depart after mass to Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery  for a 2:00pm graveside service.
