Bertha was born October 1st, 1962 to Elida P. Munoz and Pedro C. Munoz and passed on January 25th 2024.

She was preceded in death by her mother Elida Pineda Munoz and granddaughter Evelyn Rose Sanchez

She is survived by her father Pedro C. Munoz, siblings Juan Munoz, Irene Ibarra, Peter Munoz, Nancy Rapert.

Bertha was a mother to 5 children Esteban Lee Martinez Jr., Louis Martinez, Angela Martindelcampo, Lauren Crahan and Sunny Martinez. She was blessed to be a part of the lives of her 18 grandchildren, Elijah, Gaby, Gianna, Gimena, Louis Jr., Joshua, Sebastion, Cyer, Roger, Elida, Rozelyn, Kailyn, Alexandrya, Isabella, Adalyn, Logan, Gianni, and Carter.

Bertha loved to draw, paint, sing and write. She often wrote poetry as well. She enjoyed the blissfulness of the beach and fishing at the peer. A few of her other favorite pastimes were playing Loteria, watching animated movies and playing with her grandchildren. She was always willing to go the extra mile to please everyone. She was a generous woman, who would give you her last cent, and she often did. Despite her many illnesses and physical ailments, she managed to be present at as many milestones that her grandchildren reached. She loved and accepted everyone exactly as they were without condition. Bertha was indeed an original, rare soul who touched the lives of so many.

Visitation to take place at Castillo Funeral Home on Sunday, February 11, 2024 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm with a Celebration of Life to begin at 6:00pm. Family and friends will depart at 10:00am from Castillo Funeral Home on Monday, February 12, 2024 for a 10:30am Graveside service at San Fernando Cemetery II.
