Bertha Martinez, born August 17, 1954 gained her angel wings and went to be with the Lord February 16, 2021. She was 66 years old. She is reunited in Heaven with her parents Roberto T Martinez, and Elisa Martinez. She is survived by her brother Roberto Martinez Jr, sister Ernestina Betancourt; daughters Lisa Cruz (Carlos), Erica Martinez (Randall), her three grandchildren Michael Rene, Eric Randall, Emily Elisa, numerous nieces and nephews, and several cousins.

Bertha had a love for cooking, gardening and hospitality. She enjoyed shopping, listening to music, and enjoying conversations with her family, her closest friends, and anyone she could strike a conversation with.

Throughout the years she had worked for Luby's, and after completing 11 years of service with St. Luke's Baptist Hospital, she returned to Luby's prior to venturing retirement. She is deeply missed and will live forever in our hearts.
