Betty J. Gallegos' Obituary

Betty J. Gallegos was called home to be with our Lord on Sunday, December 27th, 2020, at the blessed age of 71. She was born on January 26th, 1949, in San Antonio, Texas to Elmer and Lilia Joern.

She is loved and will be greatly missed by her husband of 50 years, Raymond G. Gallegos; sons Raymond Gallegos Jr. (JoAnn), Russell Gallegos (Ida); grandchildren Russell Gallegos Jr., Nathan Gallegos, Madison Gallegos, and Reagan Gallegos; brother John Joern (Mary), as well as extended family members and friends.

Mom, you always put the family first and never stopped showing us your endless love and support. We love you so much and are going to miss your beautiful smile! Your 50 years of love for Dad never waivered and your faith to God was just as strong. We all hurt the day you went to be with our Lord and though that hurt will never leave us, we know you are pain free and living in eternal life as God has promised us. We will see you again some day and until then, you will forever be in our hearts and our love for you will never end.

Mom loved animals so you can, if you choose in lieu of flowers, donate to an animal rescue charity of your choice or make a tribute donation to the Alzheimer's Association.
