Blanca Margarita Almanza was called to Heaven on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at the age of 73. Blanca was born on June 10, 1951, in Rancho Nuevo, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, to Juan Cantu and Maria Angel Quiroga. Blanca was a hardworking, loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family, but especially loved being a grandmother. Blanca loved to cook, and spread her love by cooking delicious meals and sweets for her family. Blanca is reunited in Heaven with her parents Juan and Maria, sisters San Juanita and Marta, brothers Juan Antonio Quiroga and Sylvano Cantu, and her beloved granddaughter Naomi Lisette Ramirez. Blanca will be missed dearly by her children Adela Almanza, Brigido Almanza IV, Arturo Almanza, Gabriel Almanza, Elizabeth Almanza, and Alejandro Almanza; 11 grandchildren; sister Elvia Campos; brothers Lionel Quiroga, Lauro Quiroga, Osiel Quiroga, Mario Quiroga, and Pedro Quiroga; along with numerous extended family and friends. Visitation to take place on Sunday, October 13, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary to begin at 6:00 p.m. Family and friends will gather to celebrate Blanca's life with a prayer service on Monday, October 14, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. with burial to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
