Blas L. Alvarado was called home to be with the Lord on June 16, 2020 at the blessed age of 73. He was born December 5, 1946 in San Antonio, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, Onesimo and Petra Alvarado, and his brothers David and Gabriel. He was a veteran of the United States Army and Purple Heart recipient and was proud to have served his country. He is loved and will be greatly missed by his wife of 50 years, Irma H. Alvarado; children Dr. Chris Alvarado (Stephanie), Debra Alvarado Cameron, Bonny Jean Requejo (Rodolfo, Jr.); grandchildren Joshua, Jeremy, Alexandria, Alyssa; siblings Esther, Esperanza, Irene, Onesimo Jr., Joe, Reyes, Eliseo, Raymon; paternal half-siblings Jeanette and Johnny; as well as extended family members.
