Brenda Martinez was born November 17, 1968 in San Antonio, Texas. She graduated from Kennedy High School class of 1987. Her loving spirit departed from us at age 56 as she entered into eternal rest on Sunday February 2, 2025.

Brenda's  laughter was infectious, and her radiant smile could brighten any room. Her greatest joy in life was her family, especially her grandchildren, whom she cherished deeply.

A Life of Love and Legacy

She is preceded in death by her beloved siblings Debbie Longoria, Cynthia Moreno, Miguel Angel Gonzales and her mother in law Rita in their final resting place.

She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years Carlos Martinez and her five children, Alexis and husband Michael Finley, David Herrera wife Crystal, Savannah Herrera and husband Christopher, Kristen Martinez, Damien Martinez and wife Jessica; Sisters Paula Salazar (John), Barbara and husband Antonio Alcocer, Veronica Gonzales and numerous nieces, nephews and family members.

Brenda was born to mother San Juana C Gonzales and father Miguel D Gonzales; (step mother)Laura Gonzales. Brenda's  greatest joy and biggest blessing was being a grandmother. She loved her grandchildren dearly; Marcus, Jayce, Sara, Sebastian, Damien Jr, Persephanie, Jesse, Aniceto, Theodore & Miguel.

A Beautiful Soul Remembered

Brenda is most remembered as being a beautiful person inside and out. She was loving, caring, kind, generous, sincere and strong. She put others before herself and always did her best to make everyone around her happy. She loved to make people laugh and had the most beautiful smile. Though her presence will be deeply missed, her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

Brenda, you were a mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. You are a beautiful life gone too soon from all who knew you. You are loved and will forever remain in our hearts. You were a light in our lives, and though you are gone too soon, your love will guide us always. You are deeply loved and will remain forever in our hearts.

Rest in peace, our beautiful angel.

Visitation services will be held at Castillo Funeral Home 520 N. General McMullen - San Antonio, TX 78228 on Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. Prayer services will be held at 3 p.m.
