Brenda was a 2009 graduate of John Jay High school. In the winter of 2011, she helped welcome her only child, Samarah Lee. Her love for Samarah was never-ending, no matter the distance.
Brenda's greatest love, was her love for family. She loved just hanging out, playing basket ball with her brothers, having movie nights, and definitely family meals. She enjoyed playing with her nieces and nephews. She treasured the time she had helping care for her niece, Alaylah. Brenda also had a few friends that she considered family. She kept them close and loved them like siblings. Jennifer, John, Omar, Ruben, and Austin; she cherished you all until her last breath.
Brenda enjoyed many forms or art, to include music and movies. She really enjoyed food, especially bologna or tuna with a lot of mayo. Her favorite colors were black and red. She had a love for shoes.
Brenda was an easy person to love. She was very caring and naturally nurturing. Brenda had a great sense of humor and was very good with people. Brenda knew the importance of the little things and quality time with those she loved. She is going to be extremely missed.
