Brijida Reyna entered eternal rest, surrounded by her loved ones on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at the age of 91. She was born on October 8, 1929 in Coahuila, Mexico to the late Reyes Barraza & Antonia De Luna. She is reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband Miguel Reyna, son Roberto Reyna, parents Reyes & Antonia Barraza, and siblings Guadalupe Ochoa, Hilario Barraza, Ildefonso Barraza, and Maria Socorro Martinez. Brijida leaves her legacy in the hearts and actions of her loving daughters Juanita Garza (Rafael) and MariaCristina Mata (Javier); loving son Antonio Reyna (Florinda); 9 grandchildren, 25 great- grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. In which they all loved and adored her. She will be deeply missed as she was the matriarch of her family. They will miss her delicious food that she made with love, especially her homemade flour tortillas. If she ever felt you were hungry she would just start cooking. They will miss her love for loteria, gambling at the casinos and her adventurous personality. No matter what she was always up for some fun and adventure! She loved and accepted everyone as her own. She was strong, even till her last day, she made sure everyone was able to say their last goodbye. She will forever be in her family's hearts and her spirit will be kept alive. Our angel has now gained her wings. Visitation will take place at Castillo Mission Funeral Home on Saturday, April 24, 2021 from 1:00pm until 5:00pm with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 3:00pm . Services to conclude on Saturday afternoon . A gathering after will be held to celebrate her life, please gather details day of funeral.
