Carlos Franco Cordova "Dova", age 37, passed away on November
21, 2021 with his mother and son by his side. He was surrounded by
his close friends during his last moments here with us. Carlos was
born on March 16, 1984 in San Antonio, Texas to Cynthia Franco
Cordova and Carlos Cordova. He is survived by both his Mother and
Father, his son Chase Cordova and his Uncle Richard Franco. He is
preceded in death by his grandfather Ricardo Franco. He attended
East Central High School. He worked as a production manager at a
number of auto body shops. He had superb skills in sanding, buffing
and paint correction. His strength was his attention to detail. Carlos
was an active member of INC Nation, Impalas n' Caprices National
Car Club for 9 years. Carlos and his best friend Rudy Cervantes were
the founders of the INC San Antonio Chapter. He was known and
loved by many members, local and nationwide, all whom he called
Friends. His show car was one of a kind. His 1996 Chevy Impala was
published in Rides Magazine. His build was truly legendary in the Bbody community. He received numerous awards and recognitions
including Best Impala in 2017. Carlos was a kindhearted and humble
man. He will be missed immensely by all those who loved him. The
Funeral service will be held at Castillo Mission Funeral Home.
Visitation will be on Thursday, December 2, 2021, and begin at
3:30pm. Rosary will begin at 6:00pm. Mass will be held at Holy Name
Catholic Church on December 3, 2021 at 10:00am, followed by
internment at San Jose Burial Park. Following, a reception will be
held at Covington Park Trailhead hosted by Wesley Prince. In lieu of
