It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Carlos Flores, born on May 15, 1937, in Sabinas Coahuila, Mexico to Manuel and Guadalupe Flores. At the age of 86, Carlos was taken home by our Lord on December 13, 2022. As a spouse, a parent, and a friend, Carlos gave his everything. He was also a kind person who, if required, would give the clothes from his back. Francisa Perez Flores, the love of his life, and Carlos were together in marriage for 65 years during which time they fathered six devoted children. Carlos achieved all the goals he set for himself as a child and adult by working hard for what he wanted. which was demonstrated by his commitment to his volunteer work with the AA Groupo Unidad on Commerce St in San Antonio, Texas. Since he had been in remission for thirty years, Carlos volunteered years of his time to AA Groupo Unidad organization helping others achieve remission. His children, Jose Flores, Juan Flores (Gloria), Patricia Chavarria, Justo Flores, Herlinda Estrada (Juan), Carlos Flores Jr. (Rosana), and Justo Flores, will never forget him. His 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and a large number of families and friends make up his legacy. All those who knew and loved him felt a tremendous love and loss for him.
