Carlos N. Gomez passed away peacefully on November 17, 2023, surrounded by the warmth and love of his family. He was 66 years old. He was born in Denton, Texas, on August 17, 1957.

Carlos was a 1975 McCollum High School graduate. He served 4 years in the United States Army, as an Air Defense Artillery soldier and was stationed in Germany.

His work experience included his honorable military service, Graphics Design, Flash Logistics, and bar tending. His favorite pastimes involved watching and attending sports games, casino trips, and motorcycles trips with his friends. Along with gardening and woodworking.

Carlos is preceded in death by his parents, Rafael and Gloria Gomez Jr. and his brother Rafael Gomez III.

Carlos leaves behind 3 sons, CJ, Zachary, and Anthony; 1 granddaughter, Carolina; 2 sisters, Dalia and Nora Ayala (Ralph); 2 brothers, Luis and Hector (Rosa); 1 sister-in-law, Maryann; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and life long friends.
