Carlos Martinez Jr., 37, was called home by our Lord and Savior on November 27, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. Born on October 14, 1988, in the same city he called home throughout his life, Carlos's journey was deeply rooted in the community and family that surrounded him.

Carlos was a devoted husband of 19 years to Monalisa Salas and a loving father to his two children, Karley Beth Martinez (16) and Jaxxon Reid Martinez (5). His family was the center of his world, and his presence will be profoundly missed by those who knew and loved him.

He was the cherished son of Carlos Martinez Sr. and Helen Saiz. Carlos shared a close bond with his brothers, Anthony Leon Martinez and Raven Austin Martinez. He also held a special place in the hearts of his grandparents, Vincent and Irma Parra and Juanita P. Saiz. He is predeceased by his grandfather, Jesus L. Saiz. He will be deeply missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Carlos's life was marked by deep connections with those around him. Whether spending time with family or sharing moments with friends, he brought warmth and energy to every gathering. From a young age, Carlos excelled in all sports, but baseball and football always held a special place in his heart. Whether he was on the golf course, out hunting, or casting a line on the water, Carlos found peace in the outdoors — yet nothing meant more to him than caring for and providing for his family. His memory will live on through the many lives he touched.

He will be deeply missed by all who loved him and
