Carolina Zamora Saiz was called home to be with our Lord on November 24, 2021 at the age of 99.  She was preceded in death by her parents Pedro Zamora and Felisita Tobar; her  husband Felipe L. Saiz; sons Felipe Saiz Jr, Hector Saiz; grandson Michael Saiz, granddaughter Carolina Gloria O. Campo, great-granddaughter Amanda Vasquez, and several of her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter Gloria Lopez, sons Juan (Grace) and Santiago (Imelda) Saiz, and her sister Juanita Gonzales. Visitation will be at Castillo Funeral Home 520 N General McMullen and will begin on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 from 3:30pm to 8pm with a Rosary to be recited at 6pm. The funeral procession will depart at 11:00am on Thursday, December 16, 2021 for a 11:30am mass at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston with an ETA of 1:30pm.
