Carrie Lee Garcia, loving wife, mother, grandma, sister and friend to so many, was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at the blessed age of 61. She was born August 2, 1960 in San Antonio, TX to Roger and Frances Robles. She is reunited in heaven with her parents; children Raphael Michael Robles, Brandy LeeTello; and brother Martin Robles; brother Roger Robles, Jr. Carrie Lee Garcia is forever loved by her husband Leroy Garcia; son Gary Tello; grandchildren Daniel Morales, Jr., Iryana Hernadez, Joshua Hernandez, Jordan Hernandez, Deanette Robles, Abel Zamora and Jase Ryan Wells; siblings Yolanda Mendez, Rosalinda Robles, Frances Ortiz, Connie Aynesworth, Jerry Robles, Loretta Lozano; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.
Foremost in Carrie's life was being a true believer in the word and works of Jesus and would often remark that the bible is the Believer's Instruction Before Leaving Earth. She spent countless hours reading and learning about God and Jesus in order to seek more wisdom and understanding and welcomed the opportunity to minister to anyone and offer a spiritual awakening or spiritual refresh whether they thought they needed it or not. From Carrie's numerous bible study notes she wrote: Though he is absent in body he is present with the Lord Our God, He that believeth in me will not perish but have everlasting life, and what God has started in us he is faithful to complete. He will never leave us or forsake us, Though the body be destroyed, the Lord has given the Lord taketh away. But God being rich in Mercy, we would be reconciled through Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Celebrate Life.
Among Carrie's greatest joys was being a masterful home decorator and she could not ever get enough shopping done at all Kirklands stores in town. She immensely enjoyed the company of family and friends especially around the holiday season and every season was a good enough reason to design another wreath. Carrie often recalled the memories of her children, Ralphie and Brandy, and also of her parents. After the tears were over she would smile and find laughter in reminiscing about the good times too. Playing Scrabble was a favorite pastime of hers and if she won by 200 points in one game then she would try to win by 300 points the next time all while watching Lifetime Movies Network programs. Carrie's phone was like a prayer request service and she was always enthusiastic and passionate in praying for those calling in need of prayer.
Heaven has gained our most beloved and we are thankful, grateful, and blessed for the life, love, laughter, and gospel Carrie once shared with us. The Lord has given Carrie her wings and she has left us with her song. I love you Carrie Lee Garcia.
