Celestino M. Cordova passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at the blessed age of 95, surrounded by his beloved family. Celestino was born on October 31, 1926 in San Antonio, Texas to the late Luz and Maria Cordova. He is reunited in Heaven with his parents, his dearly missed spouse of 58 years Dolores O. Cordova, his son Joe O. Alvarez, grandson Joseph Alvarez, and his 5 siblings. Celestino was a homebody, he loved to stay home and spend time with his family. He retired from being a Master Plumber after 50 years of hard work. Although he retired, Celestino still took jobs to keep himself busy. He enjoyed watching his TV shows like Casos Cerrado and La Juesa, as well as fútbol. Celestino was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and great-grandfather and will be dearly missed. He leaves his legacy in the hearts of his loving daughters Janie A. Vasquez (Joe), Dolores Carrion (Guadalupe), and Maria Oliver; son Arthur Alvarez; grandchildren Joe, Joanna, Gabriel, Mikael, David, Kevin, Saul, Nicky, Jonathan, Dolores (Lolita), and Arthur Jr.; great-grandchildren Gavin, Gabrielle, Alyssa, Kristanna, Gabby, Isabella, David, Kapri, Karena, Kaiden, Jonathon, Victoria, Jonathan II, Jovanni, and Jade; 5 great great-grandchildren; along with numerous extended family and friends.

Visitation will take place at Castillo Funeral Home on Friday, July 22, 2022 from 9am until 11am with a Rosary to be recited at 10:00am. Family and friends will depart after the Rosary for a graveside service at San Fernando Cemetery II.
