Celia S. Alvarado, passed away peacefully at home on August 24, 2023 at the age of  88; surrounded by the warmth and love of some of her nieces.

She was born in Rodriguez, Nuevo Leon, Mexico to her parents Jesus and Romanita Sena.  She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Felicita Sena, Moraima Rangel, Carmen Carreon, Tomasa Rodriguez, Sara Martinez, Alicia Trevino, brothers: Ramiro and Andres Sena; and her beloved husband Leonard A. Alvarado.

She was a happy, loving, caring, compassionate and hardworking lady who will be greatly missed by her family and her beloved fur baby Munequita.  Tia Celia as many of us used to call her, loved dancing and playing Bingo.

She is survived by her sister Maria Elva De los Santos, brother Jose A. (Maria C) Sena, numerous nieces, nephews, and many more family members.

To celebrate her life, there will be a Rosary at Castillo Funeral Home at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 5, 2023. Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday September 6, 2023 at Christ The King Catholic Church at 10:00am, followed by interment at San Fernando 2 Cemetery.
