Celia C. Perez

Celia Cedillo Perez passed away peacefully on January 16, 2025; she was 91 years old. She was born in San Antonio, Texas on October 13, 1933.

Celia was married to Pedro Lozano Perez for 68 years, who preceded her in death in 2021.  For many years, she worked at a jewelry shop downtown as a sales-clerk and enjoyed working until her retirement in the early 2000's. Celia enjoyed thrifting, selling at the flea markets, and visiting the casinos. She and Pete enjoyed the bus trips to Coushatta and the Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino; and she also loved visiting Las Vegas with her daughter.

Celia is preceded in death by her husband, Pedro; her daughter, Diana Perez; and sons, Rito and Javier Perez.

Celia is loved and will be dearly missed by her children, Joe and Ida Perez; her grandchildren, Derek, Jodie, Desiree, Roman, Javier, Jr., Ezekiel, Jonah, and Adelina Perez; and two great grandchildren, Ariana and Roman, Jr.; as well as her sister, Herlinda Deleon; numerous nephews, nieces, and extended family and friends.
