Charlie C.
Valdez
August 10, 1989 – April 1, 2021
" Always loved, Never forgotten, Forever missed"
Charlie C. Valdez, 31, of San Antonio, Texas left this life after a tragic motorcycle accident on April 1, 2021. His family and friends are shocked and deeply saddened by his loss.
Charlie Valdez was born on August 10, 1989 to Alice L. Castro and Carlos Valdez III in San Antonio, TX. He proudly graduated from Holy Cross High School in the first coed class of 2007. After graduating from Holy Cross, Charlie courageously moved out on his own. He was always very driven to be very independent. He eagerly entered the workforce and joined a local food catering company in San Antonio for several years. He'd always had a passion for food and longed to learn culinary arts. Charlie was also very curious, adaptable and had a love for learning. He later left the catering business and moved on and mastered the trade of HVAC and became a certified technician. He eventually followed his true passion of food and began his working career with Bill Miller Bar-B-Q in 2019 as an Associate Manager.
Charlie had a deep love for all kinds of animals. As a child, he had a myriad of pets from dogs to iguanas to snakes. As a teenager, he enjoyed skateboarding. He had many hobbies, one of which was his love of firearms. He was an avid advocate for Texas' Open Carry Law. He received his license in 2018. He also loved motorcycles and soon became a member of the Hill Country Cruisers. He absolutely loved and embraced the camaraderie among his Hill Country Cruisers. He was proud to be a member of this Brotherhood and instantly bonded with his Biker Brothers. He felt a sense of belonging within his biker family and had deep connection with mentors and friends, Doug and Shauna Sanders. He lived his life enjoying riding the wide-open Texas hill country roads with his brothers. In his free time, if he was not out riding the open highways with his brethren, he could be found enjoying spending quality time with his Uncle Reno, who he admired, loved and looked up to as an older brother. Charlie also loved spending time with his beloved Mother. He loved anytime she cooked a homemade meal for him, but at the same time he loved taking her out to dinner. He loved and lived life to the fullest. He lived freely and loved big.
Charlie was very charismatic and loved his family and friends. He had the most contagious smile, gregarious and charming personality. He was unapologetically himself, and all who came around him were welcomed by his smile, hugs and invitation to adventure. He was always social and embraced everyone who was ever around him. Anyone who knew Charlie, knew that they were in the company of the warmest and most fun-loving soul. He had an immense passion for simply loving his family and friends and was always a source of love, kindness and positivity. His smile always radiated happiness. He had a happy and beautiful free spirit about him. His family and friends will miss him more than words can express.
