Obituary

Chris Gutierrez, who left this world on December 22, 2023, was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Born on January 31, 1955, in San Antonio, Texas; Chris's life was a testament to the power of love, dedication, and a passion for helping others

Chris was a fanatic when it came to the Burbank Bulldogs, as he attended their football games annually since the 1970s. His enthusiasm for sports extended to his favorite teams: the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Longhorns, and San Antonio Spurs, with each game bringing him joy and camaraderie.

Dedicating his life to inspiring others, Chris pursued a career centered around guiding individuals as he played a pivotal role in helping thousands of people attain education and achieve their career goals. Chris's legacy lives on through the countless lives he touched and the positive changes he brought to the world.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Chris was a man of music and wisdom. He had a song for every person he met, and his words of inspiration resonated deeply with those fortunate enough to know him. His infectious love for life and unwavering positivity left a lasting mark on all who crossed his path.

Chris now rests in peace alongside his father (Cresencio), mother (Anita), sister (Rose) and nephew (Tommy). Chris is survived by his three daughters Jennifer Quintero (Rosendo), Jenise Ingleston (Michael), and Jennell Pena (Ralph); nine grandchildren Nicholas, Gavin, Nathan, Solai, Nya, Seth, Malorie, Zoii, and Jameson. He is also survived by his brothers Jesse Gutierrez (Sylvia) and Robert Gutierrez (Carmen), sister Delia Garcia (Robert); brother-in-law Tomas Aguilar; numerous nieces and nephews as well as extended family and friends. As we mourn his passing, let us remember Chris as a beacon of love, kindness, and inspiration, forever etched in our hearts.
